I think there is good clone and bad clone.
Also, there is genuine clones (these are mostly european clones), clones of clones, clones of cloned clones... and so on. many cloning levels :o :) :D
It's not about the price, I mean, the good one can be cheaper than the bad one.
You need to double check your provider. Consult forumers' opinion on the net about providers.
Do you have the transparent one (90% good) or the black one (90% bad) ?
But dont forget, BDM tools are less risky (and most complete dump) than any via obd2 tools.

kessv2 + ktag is good choice

I use galletto 2 for R/W and it is work good, but to mod file the best option is manual or licenced soft!

for rewrite use galetto2 or mpps.

i agree.. but original means... expensive and "home" tuners cannot buy an ori interface
