Peugeot 1.4 HDI EDC16

Postby MMC » Mon May 13, 2013 3:10 pm

Hi guys,

this is my first file, I've been tuning my own car (Pug 206 1.4 HDI).

Things modified:
-Torque limiters
-Rail limiters
-Rail pressure map
-Injector opening time
-Nm to IQ
-DW maps

I've already modified a lot of maps, but still there are 2 or 3 that I cannot understand where to go.

Hope anyone can give me some tips about smoke limiters and SVBL.

But what do think of what is done until now?

Hi, this for your car is a real bomb.'s Bad zrobiony.Ustawienia and parameters are totally overpriced. Motor Peugeot 1.4 HDI engine is very small and it can not be set such parameters. You need to change the thinking in this way to be able to drive a car and not fire off. Only about a rail pressure, and are completely wrong done during acceleration and fuel injection at part throttle.Jak can not handle let us know that they'll do to the file.

As I know, euro 3 and euro 4 1.4 HDi has a KKK KP35 turbocharger, that is controlled mechanically (pressure generated by compressor moves the actuator).

You should adjust it mechanically. Just shorten the wastegate actuator's lever and use OBD2 interface to see where you are. Stock setup is 1,05-1,1 bar relative (2050 to 2100 mBar absolute). I was running fiesta 1.4 TDCi (same engine, but siemens engine management) at 1,8 bar relative with an intercooler for a year and a half (50k km), until the turbo gave up (at 210k km on the clock).

p.s.: injector opening time is not the map you really want to modify.

edited: I took a look of the file. You've got some weird maps in there.. :eh:

aaaand, you forgot about 3 limiters: 0F803A, 0F807C and 0F80BE...

And Nm vs IQ is another thing I wouldn't play with - until there is absolutely no other thing to modify.. Why am I writing this? Because it should be a stage 1 mod - as much as I know myself, when I'm thinking about stages, there is absolutely no way that the stage X mod will be a finished product. And when you play with these parameters, they just don't fit anymore - the ECU is cheated, and you will have no idea what's going on inside. Everything you'll do, will be trial and error. And that is a much harder and more inefficient way than to do with parameters that actually mean something, and are comparable to other examples.
