I'm new here too. So i got a question what hardware you suggest to buy for me? Now i got Kessv2 tool and I'm looking forward for making japanese cars and the newer ones.

For japanese cars i've heard that Piasini Engineering serial suit is good and the simplicity using OBD socket.
And for newer cars and BDM using i think to go for Ktag.

Maybe you can help me to choose tools, maybe you know better ones instead of i'm thinking examples.

try new galletto ... japan cars, BDM , OBD in one tool ... price is not too expensive

ive just bougth the galletto 1260 eobd and been tested on a 407sw 1.6 hdi ecu read.
winols is reading and reconizing the ecu fine :)
