VW Golf 4 TDI 130cv - EDC15P+

Postby ne0h » Sat Aug 24, 2013 8:22 pm

Hi,
have anyone removed or raised the limit of the IQ visualized from diagnosis??
Every IQ above 70mg is set to 70mg, I've done some tests today searching the damos but I only found the
normalization values, anyway modifying these values the IQ visualized is wrong...
I've also thought it was the map's axis but almost every map stops to 50\60mg and IQ is 70mg so I presume it isn't the problem! :(
Thanks!! :)

Have anyone also succeded to enable left-foot braking on those ecu's??
I've found only a lower threshold for brake-pedal plausibility check but not so much more... :(

Hi ne0h,

sure, IQ limits are no problem...

Check out my guide, even though it's for VP37 cars, it also tells you how to extend diagnostics, which works the same on the EDC15P.

For left-foot braking, you need to change a bit more, and yes, it's related to the brake pedal, obviously ;) However: are you sure that you need that? Are you going rallying?

For the left-foot braking I would love to enable it as soon as the winter comes!!
