Peugeot 206 2.0 hdi 90hp

Postby laskin » Sat Sep 07, 2013 3:23 pm

Hi,

I am new to ECUedit and newbie in this stuff so i need an opinion on my car.

As the title says it is a Peugeot 206 2.0 hdi 90hp. I bought a while ago and i know it has been tuned before. the ecu file and one ori file i downloaded here in the forum that i think it's the original for my ECU are attached.

What do you guys think???Any comments would be appreciated.

One other thing, i tried to change the bin file with winols and with one simple change like modify the adresses 67D66 and 77D66 by a small amount and when i program the modified file to the car it won't start and i don't even listen the fuel pump working when turn on ignition.. what am i doing wrong???

Thanks in advance,
Regards to all.

At 67D66 and 77D66 you tried to change the maximum torque? Where is YOUR original firmware. Since these two firmware are very different. And with the checksum of both all OK.
What else changed?

I read the file from ECU, modified those two adresses to 0 and programed it back to the ECU and it won't start, the fuel pump doesn't even work... Since i only altered those two value i can't figure out what's wrong.
If i program the file i read without modifications it starts perfectly.

edit: the original file i don't have it, because i bought the car with this one...

Well, where you first read the file and the changes, both? You have changed the quantity of fuel at 4530 rpm, why? Maybe it's not a problem in the firmware in the mechanics? And there were problems before flashing?

The file i read it from the ECU to my laptop... if i program it with no changes it works fine... if i change the file like i said it won't start!
The car is fine, i just want fuel cut to 0 at 4530RPM...
Can you do it in the 206 file and send it to me? So i can see if it works...

the two files are attached. One works perfectly, the other one doesn't work.

Can anyone figure out why??

You checksum did not rule in the firmware, you use? Here's working but one also has to address the following 5200 rpm zero register.

Very sorry, but checked the file - the checksum is OK! As well before that corresponded with the wrong file. What program and the adapter making? Will have to go here recover-an-edc15c2-boot-mode-or-take-off-29f400bt-t801/page30
