Edc 16 - How to convert torque limiter to IQ

Postby kingarthas » Mon Sep 09, 2013 11:38 am

Hi,

Is it possible someone to give brief explanation of Torque limiter conversion to IQ in EDC16.

The basic limiter is "curve for normal engine speed limitation (inner engine torque)", however it is further corrected by (and the question is what and how to reach to approximate IQ limit :?: ):

Curve of n dependent friction torque for negativ input change.
Factor for correction of the torque loss due to exhaust-gas back pressure caused by installed particle filter
friction torque map
Map for engine torque limitation correction factor based upon engine speed and atmospheric pressure during normal operation
customer specific overheat protection torque limitation
base map for torque to q conversion as function of working point
Basic map for conversion of torque in to quantity taking the regeneration demand 1 of the EGT in to account (if regen)
factor for torque-forming part of injection quantity PoI2 (should have same for post Inj 1)

should also be affected by:

Factor for correction of the torque loss due to exhaust-gas back pressure caused by installed particle filter
Limitation below of the torque loss due to exhaust gas back pressure caused by installed particle filter
