I usually switch to 8-bit numeric view, and search for "001 000 001 048".

Others can be found on forum: at some cars, you put the hexdump in 10-column view, at some in 12-column. You set it (using ctrl+left or ctrl+right), so that the "048" is at the rightmost column. On the left side (from the first on), there are 3 switches: EGR valve switch, wastegate (or VGT vanes) switch and something I don't remember right now.

Hi. I need to find the egr switch in hw 0281010161 and sw 1037381401 of a edc smart cdi. I found the sequence 001 000 001 048 at 77B50. If I understand correctly the egr switch is the first "001" of this sequence? (001 000 001 048)

If all is correctly, after this mod, I need to left the egr actuator plug connect? Or I need (not can, but need) to remove it?

I'm seeing the same "025 000 250 000 001 000 001 000 001 048" in my file. Can anyone confirm if the first 001 (As indicated in the post above) is actually the EGR switch?
