TunerPro

Software used for ECU editing

TunerPro

http://www.tunerpro.net/

This is free Map editing software.
Although donations are appreciated.

I have a sample .bin and .xdf file in the damos section if you want to download and have a play.

You can set tables or individual cells to reference other memory locations or perform functions on them automatically.
Or you can use the conventional scale multiple add etc.

Also has data aquisition ability via obdii

How do you use it?
I click File > Open bin... select my bin... and nothing..
I tried different bins.. but nothing happens...

File close several times....
Tools > advanced > hex editor
..should then be empty.

xdf > select xdf
..find the xdf file in the damos section.

now reload the bin file from the damos section.

Each xdf is specific to a software version.

view > select everything ;)

you'll get the paramter tree on the left with all the tables in the xdf file.
you'll get the summary list at the bottom with all the addresses that the tables link to in the bin file.
double click a parameter to open the table.

Help > help topics
... is pretty thorough

Thats enough to get you started anyway.

Yes you can, but you will still need to make checksum correction of the mod file. Tuner pro can make it.

been using tunerpro to tune older BMW motronic ECU's since 2009.. very good tuning software once u get the hang of it. use winols to find the important maps then input them into an XDF in tunerpro and bobs your uncle.. get tuning. also you can emulate and tune in real time with the engine running on cars with 28 pin eproms (27c256, 27c512, etc) using tunerpro RT and moates ostrich 2.0 emulator. makes tuning much better on older ECU's, can do in days what would take months with only a chip burner.
