I need to remap Skoda Octavia Diesel. In particular I need to to change spark and AFR. I am new to ECU remapping and don't even have idea what software/equipment is needed and better. Would anyone care to comment?

You better outsource this to a guy who knows basics of engines. You are talking about a PETROL engine.

Spark + AFR are therms used generally by people who are tuning or diagnosing a PETROL engine.
