Question. When looking at the maps, the basic ones and some not so basic are pretty clear to me, and I see how we can make good power with a few tweaks.

But, why does the ECU list multiple maps for the same thing. For example why do we have multiple drivers wish maps in the same memory "bank". I understand why we have one for automatic and one for manual (in 6xxxx and 7xxxx respectively) but I don't understand why we have two in the same bank?

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I really don't want to change things unless absolutely required.
