Interested in relative cost for both a hardware and software setup to tune Mercedes 55k engines. I believe that winols with some obd based tool can do the job but finding info on this isn't as straightforward as I would have imagined. I also realize that the learning curve with winols is steep but I have a lot of patience.

galletto 2 , byteshooter, cmd, anyone of these can be used to program the ME2.8/2.81 ecu's ,Winols is good to use but there is a very steep learning curve for this and getting A2L/damos files are tough to come by but they are out there
