My 1st re-map for xsara 110hp

Postby dbwarrior » Fri Sep 27, 2013 10:19 am

HI experts

I have been trying study hard to get this first re-mapping happen. Finally i got something to show you for previewing it before putting it to car.
In general level is just made only kind small changes. Mainly seeing what happens in real life:

WINOLS was taking care that parallel maps 7XXXXX was handle correctly.

For Fuel:
- Adjusting TL1 8-16% UP(683FA).
- Adjusting Smoke map1(68468) UP and UP scaling x-axle(this was kind experimental test for future tunings).
- Adjusting IQ limiter(fuel temp2) (68024)

FOR boost:
- Adjusting little bit more boost, boost map(66438)
- Adjusting boost limiters(temp&amb) (66E2E) & (67830)

I was checking that check sum was showing "green" when compared to original by using "check sum corrector software".
So map is ready for testing or should i change something ?

My other question: is it needed to adjust those SVPRL values in my 1st re-mapping ? now they are 1350
Also injection duration map is original. Is it needed to change those values for making that 65 happen what is defined on TL1 ?

Hopefully some of you got some time for giving feed back...

67F7A fuel temp IQ limit. large values of TL at low rpm bad for the clutch and box.

Thanks Deman for quick reply.
I was kind of aware that TL is too high at low RPM. Because this was first re-map i was looking to get "clear" difference to orginal map.
I agree , that For long period using it is good to adjust it down.

Your comment for IQ limit 67F7A. You suugest for rising also those values up, because temp will be higher than 90degree for sure? We got here already +3 degree outside, so i was thinking that i am not seeing +90 degree at fuel temp.

67F7A 100% I do not know but I think this card bude restrict fuel. 90 This does not mean that the temperature will rise up to it, but this will function restriction of fuel.

I was forgot to tune it up and YES IQ was limited exactly to those values what was on column temp/90degree.
After fix them, i was able to log by using Lexia my new TL based values.

Then my next question is that is it normal that MAF value is decreasing from 1241@1936rpm to 1134@2971rpm and finaly 982@3986rpm ? Boost is steady 2000-1976mBar on that range.

I attach my Lecia logging for showing what i wonder

Perhaps EGR need to physically block out.

Good theory, but it is already blocked out. This was needed before re-,mapping because EGR pipe was broken and leaking BOOST pressure.

But is my worrying correct, that MAF should be dropped so dramatic way ?

Then it's weird. I can assume that the exhaust pipe a little clogged. And the high speed props.
