Changing axis in EDC15?

Postby jammapic » Wed Oct 09, 2013 8:25 pm

Hi,

I'm pretty new to tuning and am doing it for no other reason than to further my car knowledge and tune my 306 HDI with intercooler etc etc.

Stock output is 90hp, and ran on the dyno today and saw 166hp - so pretty good start. My question is this though:

The help with controlling fuelling at certain RPMs etc, is it as easy as changing the axis numbers (e.g. torque limiter at 2250rpm) to the desired number? For example, can I have 0rpm, 750rpm, 1500rpm, 1750rpm, 1900rpm, 2000rpm, 2100rpm, 2250rpm etc etc as I see fit?

Thanks,

James

Yes, you can.

However, you should take care to not have wildly differing axes everywhere - makes it hard to compare values without interpolating/calculating everything.

Also, you are limited by some single values and limiter maps inside your binary to a maximum fuel quantity, air mass, boost, ...

You'll need to find those, as well.

Yeah, I think I'm struggling to find those single value limiters for fuel control. I add more in the various maps and don't see to be getting much else...
