You will achieve similar result by taking off actuator rod from intake manifold. This way actuator will work freely and you never get DTC error. You can do it without taking off manifold.

You know the swirl flaps that can be easily turned off, but if you have to replace the starter motor is faulty or delete dtc, it seems to me is P1109.
