Hello from Nicowico.

Postby Nicowico » Sun Apr 08, 2012 8:03 pm

Hello,

I'm Nicowico and I'm an owner of a Peugeot 406 coupe 2.2 HDI, 180 HP(I thought), no FAP/CAT, no EGR, no airdosters, 63 mm. SS Exhaust.

I thought my remap is 180 HP, but from what I read here at the forum it is not, so I like to know why not and how to achieve 180 HP.

Welcome!

From what I understand some of the "180bhp" maps will not produce more than 150bhp. However there are several maps out there and the only way to know if it is a 180bhp capable map is looking at the injection quantities and injection presures in the map. The admin and the moderator could have a look. (I'm still learning and may be wrong)

Hi Nicowico, welcome.

Yes that's correct. There is "bunch" of maps (70+) that has to be changed.

You can achieve 180bhp with 90mm3+ IQ, 1400bar+ rail pressure,
1.4 bar boost...there is a lot of work to do it right way.

(original car: 74mm3 IQ, 1350bar rail, 1.2bar boost.)

The best way is to follow the progress step by step.
If you do it by yourself it will be a project for months. ;)

You have to modify your original file,
not just some generic file without "immo".
