Cylinder pressure tuning

Postby Patrick1 » Fri Nov 01, 2013 11:22 pm

I have been doing some reading on cylinder pressure tuning. Is anyone doing this?
What kind of success have you had? What equipment are you using?
Any feed back appreciated. Thanks, Patrick

i could possibly be a total noob in this but That is what i think :
I first need to tell what car and type of engine are you talking about.. so others will try to help
2nd thing : The pressure on a cylinder directly depeneds on turbo pressure, thus on intake manifold and finally cylinder..
But as i said this discussion is still viable unless you want to tell at least what car and ecu are u running...

At the moment we are working with the Institute in development of closed-loop combustion control.
Measuring development of explosion in the cylinder is being performed.

There are a lot of measurements and tests that are very very interesting,
also results.

Once information will be suitable for publication, i will post some results.
