Siemens ECU PD140 WinOLS

Postby cineman » Tue Nov 05, 2013 3:22 pm

Hi, I'm new to remapping, I've read up a lot on remapping an EDC15 with winOLS as i thought my ECU was a Bosch, but when i connected my flasher and read the ECU it turned out to be a Seimens 03G906018CD PPD1.5 I loaded the map into winOLS but the hex data, 2d and 3d maps in 8 bit and 16 bit plots were nothing like the EDC15 examples I'd been looking at in various winOLS tutorials also winOLS couldn't auto detect any maps. The Map i downloaded from the ecu was good as i sent it to a tuner and received it back modified and uploaded it to the ECU. It works fine but i'd like to find out whats been changed. can anyone help, am i doing something wrong in winOLS or do different ECU's maps look totally different?

If you have a copy of the original file that you send to the tuner, you just have to compare each other to see what he did ;)
