I spent all night yesterday trying to identify maps in the EDC16C39.
Now i have this damos that is supposed to help me with this but the regions don't seem to correspond.
Therefore my big question, can each manufacturer have different locations for it's maps, despite the fact the ECU is the same?

of course - yes and often same model of same manufacturer has different location of maps.
