2007 335d overboost

Postby 7797archer » Mon Nov 11, 2013 11:23 pm

hi guys, im hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. after tune + dpf and egr delete the car drops into limp mode
at high speed (120mph+) when letting off the throttle. perfect when on boost.

I assume that the problem is caused by lack of back pressure from removing the dpf/cat??

what would i have to do to to correct this??

Many thanks in advance.

Correct the N75 map and requested boost map (on the low-load end at higher rpm).

It takes a LOT of testing, logging and playing with N75 and torque limiters to get things right.

I think @ecuedit wrote a lot about it...

Never had sutch problems, so I don't have much experience about it... :?

But I had many problems with underboost at original renaults 1.9 and 2.2 dCi.

Thanks for the replies, ive decided to start from scratch again. so today ive put the org file back on with just egr and dpf delete and tested. no boost problems on org file, so its going to be a long job of building the map back upto full power.

need to get it done soon though as im missing the wheel spin into 4th gear

have you been logging your boost? how much boost do you request with your mod? I think it can help when you will log the boost pressure with ori file and compare with ur mod.
Sometimes the boost control valve or the bypass valve can be faulty on these but i think it's also because of the lack of backpressure after dpf removal!
