What is the type of my ECU ?

Postby zdzich » Fri Dec 06, 2013 8:36 am

I have a 1994 Mercedes S320 gasoline engine with a Bosch ECU part number 0261200440. What is the type of this ECU ? What hardware and software do I need to remap it ? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

How did you found the ECU type?

I am looking for mine 330cd from 2004 (204BHP) but I don't know where to check it!

Hi all,
I'm new in this area, so I want to ask if I could swap the ECU from my new beetle 1999 with ECU from Golf4 of 1999? The original ECU is 038 906 012 and the other is 038 906 018. What is the procedure for replacement?
thank you
