Duration maps increased in the 55-75mg range.

if you increase duration maps you must increase SOI maps too, because you waste fuel and get smoke.

Yep, the SOI maps need to be advanced. So decrease the values?
If I understand the SOI axes, x and y are IQ vs RPM and the z axis is crank angle.
I've basically increased my duration around 8% in line with my 8% IQ increase over ori.
Would it be safe to advance the timing at 55-77 IQ by maybe 2 degrees without worrying about EGT's?

Why don't you check EOI to get a better view?

Is it right that we would want EOI at TDC?

How does this look then? Tuned SOI maps to aim for injection duration to be finished a bit closer to EOI. Only tuned above 2000 rpm at IQ60 - 77

Power is worse in the tuned SOI section (high demand, high rpm) than it was before SOI tuning
Going to try with a bit less advance

Injection duration maps are really bad. Better leave them ORI.

You really made a mess with the SOI. :D

RPM SOI Difference
2000 1.0 1.0 1.0
2500 1.3 1.3 1.3
3000 0.5 0.5 0.5
3500 4.3 4.3 4.3
4000 3.1 3.1 3.1
4200 1.0 2.9 2.9
4400 1.0 3.2 3.2
4800 0.1 0.1 0.1

Lol, looks like I need to do more research on appropriate duration and SOI tuning!
Think I'll fix the smoke map and SVBL on Ominimicu's map and flash that again.

Are the remaps for 530d en 525d the same? Or will it brick the ecu?
