The first thing I am going to say is; sorry for being a bit lazy
This first post will mainly be a copy paste from my topic over on ecuconnections.com, as I think this will be the best way to show the progress I made over the past 1.5 yrs :D

Tue Jul 24, 2012
Here was my first "new" file, since I joined ecuconnections.com...
To sum it up short, I had a remap, done by a pro, used his example and started all over again.
Hardware mods done; FMIC, custom intake and exhaust, 6 paddle cerametallic clutch...
If anything is unrealistic, feel free to share the knowledge.

Second map is the virtually the same, I only changed a map or 2 compared to the first one, and I changed them after viewing an OEM 110BHp mapping closely.

btw I still need to adress the axis in my duration maps and extrapolate the values, so I can go up to the new 1700bar of railpressure.

As no one had replied to this post yet, I went ahead and tested the file in the car...
Throttle response was amazing and I immediatly felt an increase in power...
The pulsating sensation I was talking about in other posts appeared to be gone and i hit 1665bar of railpress...

On the downside, it smoked like a coal locomotive, so it was back to the drawing board for a detune and extrapolation of the altered axises...

version 2 is ready...
Less agressive and with extrapolated axises, so hopefully it'll smoke less.

I've been searching through the mapping all day today.
Also, I finally found the SOI maps :D I used the search and entered a string of RPM values, to see what I would come across. They were right under my nose the entire time LOL...

Also I cross referenced the 110BHP and 90BHP a second time and again, I found some interesting changes, will have to put them together tonight as well, so I can show them here... But this time I'll do the cross reference in an ORI 90 file, so no one gets mixed up... :D

due to a system error, I lost version 2.
So I've spent the last hour making it again... I didn't realy remember how I did it exactly, so I had to start from scratch...
I wasn't as happy with the new version, but I just finished testing it...
Pretty much the same result... Great response and less, but still too much, smoke...
Version 3 is also ready, which is a newly altered version of the pro map I had before...

Thu Jul 26, 2012
and version 3 is also tested.
Smokelevels are almost acceptable, from 2750rpm all smoke seems to be gone in my rear view mirror...
Buttdyno thinks it goes rather well, but it seems a bit less then v1 and v2...
Like I said, will upload them tomorrow.
Now it's time for bed as I keep seeing little green numbers flashing before my eyes...

After driving version 2 for a while, I couldn't say I was happy.
Power was good, but there was still too much smoke and as the turbo is pretty much maxed out, I increased the lambda map and lowered the duration back to factory for factory values... And extrapolated the 1800bar values to suit...
Smoke seems to be acceptable now, though I may have lost some power across the entire range...
Still in need of some advice, before I start messing with the soi and duration maps...

Version 4 seems to be the best yet. Apart from the occasional mist you can see at night when taking of from a red light, it appears to be smokefree so far...

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on the forum...
Version 4 had been on the car for almost a year now.
Still going strong, maybe a bit too strong...

Though I am experiencing some rough Idle from time to time, mainly came up after installing a polybush lower engine mount. I needed this as the torque kept killing my OEM ones, 2 in one year is a bit much.
Most of the time vibrations aint that bad, but sometimes I fear my car may vibrate apart...

My CG Motorsports paddle clutch got knackered after only 30.000km and I believe the gearbox is on it's way next.

I've just finished making some new versions of the mapping, where the main goal is smokefree and reliable power for stock hardware.

I've limited the Torque Limiter a bit in lower engine RPM regions to prolong the lifetime of clutch and gearbox and I've deleted the EGR off function, as I've allways had my doubts about it causing the heavy vibrations...

Furthermore, I've found out that there is no need to alter a whole lot of maps for a basic tune in this ecu really...
"Drivers wish" maps, "Torque Limiter" and "Lambda" map will get you going.
"Rail Pressure" maps and "Boost" maps were altered to get in some extra fuel with a clean burn, along with some limiter maps and single value limiters.
In version 4 I tinkered with the "NM to IQ Conversion" maps, but I believe there is no need to alter these, so I reverted them back to stock.
"Injection Duration" maps were left as close to stock as possible besides the fact I extrapolated values for increased rail pressure.

428 topic views, 31 downloads of the last version of my remap, yet only 1 comment, from a newbie with 3 posts...
No one that wants to give any feedback?

Like I said before in a reply I posted to another topic, I was really wondering whether or not I should even keep this topic updated any more, as I don't seem to get any decent feedback and yet many people downloaded my files...

Anyhow, I decided that that would most likely be the price to pay, in order to contribute to this forum. Although many newbies will be tempted to just download my files and use them as their own, there might be some that even take the effort of doing the research to figure out what I changed and why and maybe someday they too can contribute or aid someone...

I always wished I would find a thread like this, when I started out... It took me a couple of years to learn what I know today, and it still ain't much though...
I still have a lot to learn, so anybody willing to help out in any way, please do... Even the newbies can share their thoughts or remarks...

In the attachments you will find a full winols project, with all different versions, a mappack I assembled myself and each hex file. In the mappack there are still a large number of unidentified maps (mostly temperature related) and most likely some of them will be wrong, although I am quite confident in all of the maps I named, accept for the SOI ones...

Please bear in mind, non of these files were ever dyno tested, nor is there any datalogging accompanying to prove any of the mods to be safe... Use these files at your own risk and definitely do not use any file lower then version 6, as number 4 killed my clutch in less then a year...

For the people that do not use winols, I will type down the complete mappack, including axis descriptions with factors and offsets. Again, if anyone finds an error, please report it and I will change it.

Version 5 was derived from Version 4, but with lowered durations. (NOT TESTED)
Version 6 was derived from Version 5, but with lowered torque limiter. (NOT TESTED)

Version 7 was derived from Version 6 (NOT TESTED)
Dusrations maps were reverted back to stock, except the Y-axis of 1800 and extrapolation of the new values, along with thee shift of previous values.
Nm to IQ maps were also reverted back to stock, as I figured out stock maps were high enough for basic tune.
EGR Hysteresis maps were also reverted back to stock, as I blamed this for engine vibrations.
