want to start tune my bmw m57 engine with edc15c4 dde4 ecu.If i want to add some power what maps to I need to chenge ?
Have also looked around forums and maybe i understand something allready but some help is need like all newbies.
so am I correct
Drivers wish map 78B0E and 78BFE .x axis is tps and y axis is rpm . Z is IQ
Inversed drivers wish map. Dont understand this map . x axis is IQ and y axis is rpm and what is z i quess atm pressure ?
Torque limit ? can enybody tell my where to find this map
IQ limit 7925A is this the map what to change ? x axis atm pressure, z axis rpm and z is IQ
Found also this 795A2 , collumns of 00065 read on forum that this is also some limiter by map?

And if i want to raise boost then i change it from which maps. are these correct?74402 and 7457E and is x axis IQ and y axis rpm ?
Do i need also change overboost Vnt map 74938 and 74AB4.

Ok, first of all you will need to determine your SW and HW version of your DDE. Then, you can request help finding an adress in the map. Why? Well, maps are not all in the same place in different versions of DDE.

I would suggest you look for a BMW DAMOS EDC15 file and try to go with this. You found 3-4 maps.. There is at least 40 relevant maps that you will need to find and get to know them a little bit better before you change anything. I am working on the same ECU as you do, and i've found all the maps through the DAMOS file with alot of patience, google translate and reading of Bosch docs, i suggest you do the same.

P.S if you think you know how diesel engine works, believe me, you dont. I tought i was pretty good with mechanics when i started to look into this stuff and quickly learned that i dont know sh** and i'm learning slowly.
