Golf IV PD 115 AJM 038 906 019AM burned some chip

Hi,
Fired one chip in this ecu (or whole thing). ECU is from early Golf 4 '99 PD 115hp and I
couldn't access it with MP*S, so i pulled it out but connecter switched wrong plus 12v+ and ground on my bench :oops: ,
so this chip (Picture 1) went to smoke.
Does anyone know what this chip is?
Is it some kind regulator, diode..., any help would be appreciative

This computer is ME 7.1.1, but this is the power supply(some kind) so it should be the same

thanx for replay,
I also thought that is some kind diode.
Have looked in some passat edc15 immo3 ecu's,
there are 2 probable?? diodes at same place ST A20B218 or similar, ill check tomorrow.

Looking at yours, this could be this:
