Few questions about MPPS

Postby carllewis1980 » Thu Jan 16, 2014 9:10 pm

Hi

Firstly, i have seen a demo of MPPS ECU reading and it states that in the bottom left corner is a voltage reading and you should attempt if the reading is below 12v... mine is reading 11.35v - what do you recommend?

I did an ECU ID check and it said... flash attempts 1 - Does this mean the original flash attempt or is my car already remapped?

Thirdly, i have an A4 2.0 TFSI my misses and an A3 2.0 TFSI - both 2005 models. Both have same ECU... If i buy one file can i use it on both cars?

Thanks in advanced for your responses.

Dont read/write if your voltage its lower then +12V!

Your car could be already remapped,...
Send me your readed file from your ECU and i can check for you if its already tuned and if its tuning good and safe enough

If HW & SW match you can write file without any problems but not all ECUs,...

But best solution its always tune the readed file from the ECU

You can post your original file on the forum so everybody can see it.
You can not use the same MOD file on the cars.

At abc-tuning - This forum is NOT your personal market place. In all your post you are trying to pull the member to buy your tune.

We know this its not our personal market place, but customers or forum members always decide if they wanna buy or not!
I checked tuned files, try to help people if they are willing to learn,..etc ( its not all selling, selling, selling )
I mostly write in "Ecu Tuning Request" if someone need help with tuning file!

We don't wanna argue about this but you can always PM me and we will anwser your question!

Hi,
you shouldn't trust the MPPS blindly. Just compare the Voltage its telling with a measured one @ the battery! Mine always tells something different (linear offset)

Hi
I have a question. I had tuned my vectra b 2.2dti by cmd flasher. I tryied to read ecu file by MPPS but there is no result - cannot read.
It means that only CMD can read - no other hardwares??

If your voltage is around or under 12V, you better have to put a battery booster or a battery charger during the flashing procedure. If your battery voltage is under 12V (with a voltmeter measure) it's time to buy another one or to check the alternator (not sure if the ord is correct in english). :)

I already used the MPPS on a edc15c2, edc15P+, edc16c34 and a edc16U1 (I just read the last one), and it succeed every time.
