Hi to all,
I need a little help, today i tried to read an ECU from a Seat Ibiza 1.4TDI, but MPPS fails on the reading it returns a security lock error.
The car is from 2009 and i can't see the ECU make, there are no stickers on the case.

Does anyone what Eeprom this car have?

Firstly do us all a favor and trash that MPPS as it's nothing but a time bomb. You'll end up damaging more ecu's than remapping them :shock:
This Seat has an is a EDC15P+ :roll:
which should have an infineon processor, 29F400BT flash and assume it's got an ST95Cxx as eeprom
Check photos of similar ecu but from 1.9 tdi 130hp 6L and the file is for a 1.4 tdi 68 hp BNM engine here:

No. Ibiza 6J don't have edc15, have edc17. 2009 probably have a anti-tuning software and the solution to tune this is by boot tricore. Only some softwares can be tune by obd.

yes ,like TWEmotorsport say , the ecu it' edc 17, and mpps no read (i supose it's mpps clone)

Thank you vicfurpac, the edc15P+ i read perfectly even with galletto 1260 and mpps, my car uses one of those it's a Ibiza 6l.

Thank you TWEmotorsport after some search i found that the 1.4TDI is EDC17 and 1.6 is a Simos PCR 2.1, both of them implies acess to ECU board.

You are right marius_12, it's a clone, but i took the chance to order a Galleto v3 wich supports Simos PCR2.1 unlock and both BDM, Boot Tricore and OBD features.

Thank you mate, my new interface arrives on Monday, i'll try by the OBD first, if something goes wrong i can recover directly with the Galletto.

you must read ecu on the tabel
and you can wriht it wen it is in the car works oke no protection
