EDC16C31 custo

Hi everyone!

I looking for an EDC16C31 extract from ECU in order to start a simulation (EGR removal, speed limiter...).
I have a 330cd BMW from 2004 (204BHP) and I would like to learn how to change it.
Someone can send me an original map?

Which soft can you advise for a novice like me? Winols? The goal is just to understand how to manage egr valve and change speed limitation.

Thanks! One another point is the best way to extract my own map galletto? Kwp? Mpps?

Hey!

I think that the KWP will not work with your EDC16. But the Galletto and the MPPS will if you have a not too old version.

With the EDC16U31, there must be 14V or above to flash with the MPPS v13.

You need a laboratory power supply set to 14v output in order to be able to read and write, is what he says, battery power wont do...

On my machine the BMW 525d DDE4 read and recorded with the help of MPPS without any additional hardware, there were no problems. Naturally all current users are disabled (stove, radio etc)
