Ford Mondeo mk3 2.0 TDCi MPC555 - mappack

Postby zok » Tue Jan 14, 2014 10:19 am

Here's a little something that I did yesterday in the evening - I couldn't find the damos or mappack for my car, so I had to create my own mappack.

The car is Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 96 kW 2004 saloon, ECU Delphi MPC555 with built-in Injector Control Unit (facelifted version).

No single values found yet, as I don't know Delphi very well.

MPC555 is a Nm-based ECU, kinda like EDC16, but fators and offsets are different (boost map factor 10 instead of 1, N75 duty cycle factor 1 instead of 100, etc). No values and descriptions added in a mappack yet.

Some of the maps are proven to be named right (TQ/TQ map, TL, Idle rpm map etc), some of them are not (yet).

I will be glad if anyone takes a look and tell me if (and where) I am wrong.

This work is not over yet, I will keep looking for other limiters.

zok

p.s.: hope this will help ford enthusiasts to understand their car's ECU dump.

I used Galletto 2.

Yes, WinOLS reported one wrong checksum and corrected it. So far I didn't experience any problem with that, not if I load the modified file (corrected by WinOLS) or the one that is reported to have one wrong checksum. :eh:

For MAF I use factor 6,25, and for IQ, I use 0,01525.

Here's a mappack that I use right now... In the same file it is a *.kp file that contains much more maps - some seem significant, others don't, but for most of them, I have no idea what exactly could they represent.

I still miss some of the maps (SVRPL - FRP doesn't get above 1600 bar constantly, and I've read that 6x2 IQ limiter should be hidden somewhere between the rest of other limiters), and I would urgently need to know where the cruise control switches are and what exactly each of them does. So if anyone has a DAMOS file, I will be very glad if he's willing to share it with me.

I may be able to help you find the maps you need. Do you have data logging hardware e.g. delphi ds150 or autocom?
Giving you what you need straight out the box won't help you learn. Do you have N75 valve or actuation motor?
