I have a MPPS slave that is linked to a master in the UK.
Can i only receive files from this master or can i have it upgraded to a master tool or not.
secondly i have problems were i receive a file from the master and when i load them it runs to 30% then it lock the ECU out and you can't read or reload any files even if i try load OE software no joy it gives error that the key was turned off but i never touched the key.

I have spoke to Phil from mpps about this and he has no answer for it and it has happened on two occasions to the same vehicle.
now i am scared to try and load a map to the third ECU.

Can this be a Tool problem or are MPPS tools unstable ?

i dont have all answe for you, but yes if you have slave you are linked to your master.
