Sorry, but the VNT not is Variable Nozzle Turbo = Variable Geometry ?

The maps should handle 3 parameters
Boost limiter = Bar
Time Overboost (wastergate) = microSec
VNT (variable geometry) = %Duty

The VNT in the xdf has the typical form of the "time overboost" in other EDC16.

Last night I think I saw two other maps in the turbo sector, maybe variable geometry. As soon as you can around the addresses.

Ok Thanks.... I will have a nose...
I cant see anything else that could be % vnt duty in HDS ?

Variable nozzle technology is the wastgate.
http://www.technologie-entwicklung.de/G ... turbo.html
Varying the nozzles releases exhaust.

OPS...
you're right
I remembered the operation of the wastegate in my old turbo with fixed geometry

The maps of the probable VNT (% duty) for me is EC0E0 and EC7AC

RPM vs Fuel = Target Bar??

I don't have understood what he does with the Bar.

However, you can logs the time of overboost?

EC324 16X16 7500x5000 =< 1376
EC7AC 16X16 7500x5000 =< 1465
Are these the ones you mean ?

Duty is nearly always % in this ECU
(For swirl valve duty and for egr duty)
Factor is 100/8192 = %

1376 = 16.8%
1465 = 17.88%
Duty % is not this low.

HDS does not report anything for the turbo in usec
Only Actual MAP, Target MAP and Duty %.

ECF20 16X16 7500x5000 = mBar boost
ED164 16X16 7500x5000 = mBar boost
ED3A8 16X16 7500x5000 = mBar boost (= Target Map normally)

Further testing.

Both speed limiter values were set and vehicle would not exceed stated speed at 100% pedal.

all rail limiters and peak rail pressures were set at 1610bar.
HDS reported target and actual as 1610bar.

IQ adjustment and NM>IQ tables has the last column modded from 75 to 80mg and the values increased 80/75th.
Fuel quantity still hit requested mg.
All other tables are flat and should use the 75mg axes for 75mg+.

I'll update and tidy the xdf tommorrow.

Tidied up the xdf with new labels and removed tables that didnt work.
Renamed some tables to suit their function more.

In the software for tuner professional, the address F4310 is "pressure turbo diesel quantity".

How does that work then ?
RPM vs IQ = MAP ?

Doesnt make any sense :wtf:

are 3 tab 16x16 injection at part throttle (Map2) (BoostxRPM)
1. dc228
2. dc46c

Relic wrote:I currently set MAF mg/str 1500 across the board on tables 1,2,3.
HDS says target MAF is 1200 and not 1500....might be due to the lambda table axes set at 1200
Dont know until I change the lambda axes

I also Change duty % in tables 1,2
Initially I set all at 85%(15% inverse) as per the majority.
HDS reported EGR duty 20% stable in feedback mode (no errors).
Open loop minimum = 5% duty.
So must be 15+5% = 20%

I tried to change all values 2000rpm+ to 0% duty.
HDS reported EGR duty random 19-23% unstable at all rpm/iq.
So 15% must be the lower limit in the feeback tables.
(

If You dont change duty% in tables 1,2 HDS reorted EGR duty 9% stable in feedback mode.
So I Think is correct only change egr table setting to 1500, without touching egr duty map. 9% should be closed (parzialized) more than 15%.
