Thanks.
Is that a good idea to buy a digital tuning hardware from ebay ?

Anyone can take a picture of his ass, rename it to "200hp_file.bin" and send it to you, and you will upload it to your ECU.. :|

There is a LOT of work and knowledge involved in this tuning stuff. You don't even know where do these files come from.

Read your ECU and open the original file in WinOls. Ther learn. And learn some more. And more. And more. The software isn't as complicated as it looks.

But noone will get you a quality remap for free - because this knowledge isn't so easy to get.

And noone will tune it "as much as possible" without extensive dyno testing.

Free remaps on ebay are crap - I never dared to play with them and never will - I don't trust anyone but myself. But you can give it a shot.

Its terrible, but they do that!.

I was at polish alfa forum, and they upgrade firmware without any thinking about this. From almost the same car to others

Hi man,
I have Alfa Romeo 2.4JTD 305Nm 136Hp stock.
I remapped it to 350Nm, 170Hp.
My turbo is TD2503(VNT25) with preassure actuator control. The above values are the maximal safety possibilities for this engine without hardware changes.
Your engine is with better/bigger turbo than mine and is vacuum controlled geometry.
But before starting of doing anything you have to answer for yourself:
What power can derive from your turbo?
What is the maximal torque your clutch can handle?
The same is the question for differential and gearbox.
Do you want clouds of soot behind you?
These are the main constrains for remap.
One can not just put all the fuel the injectors can pass, and request the maximal pressure the pump can supply. The result will be bad.

Regards!
