1.9 TDI PD AXR 101hp - basic remap about 123hp > second try

Hallo again :angel:

now I have compared my original tuned file from my car to the original file and changed the maps.
Then I changed the following maps for ONLY codeblock 2 (manual):
-driver wish
-smoke limiter
-torque limiter
-boost target
-boost limit map
How about EGR? Some people said thats better for the engine especially for the turbo and the car runs smoother. What are the consequences of the disabled EGR? If I put in the hole map 850mg, an errorcode is placed cause on my EU4 car the EGR is controlled?


I haven't changed duration and timing, because of the "light" tuning. The note is given in the manual "Basic remap of a VW 1.9 pd tdi BKC EDC16 using Excel calculators" from https://sites.google.com/site/vagecumap/10-basic-remap-of-a-vw-1-9-pd-tdi-bkc-edc16-using-excel-calculators

I don't want to get out the max power of the engine. I didn't like the actual mapping from my car, cause after 1500rpm and full throttle you think its a starting plane for 500rpm and every second you think the clutch and gearbox makes BOOOOM
I want something like an eco-tuning.

In this archive I put in my modified file and the horrible one im driving now.
So, after some days and hours of work, is my new file useful?

Just dont block EGR, leave that map, is fine with it. If you take a look at SOI map (i learn this from pro tuners and people with more experience) , you'll see that in EGR area, the injection timing is retarded. A retarded injection will put producers on the right emissions level, but the compromise is increased fuel consumption and low power. To compensate these, they put EGR, to pre-heat the combustion chamber. Theoretically if you remove the EGR, to obtain the same heat in combustion chamber you must advance SOI in that area. EGR helps for coolant heating where exists egr cooled by coolant.
I think that you can go above 44 mg. You have the same clutch as mine(bmw 320d), 224 mm, original mine is 280 NM and i increased it up to 320 NM. Your clutch can take easly 300NM, this means an injection up to ~50mg. Also i dont see bigger values than 2000 mbar in turbo, are these values increased ?

you have watched codeblock 5 for automatic .... these are ori values for the axr engine :mrgreen:
my new values are in codeblock 2 for manual

final file with EGR off and calculated smoke limiter
torque is limited to round about 300NM max
maybe like a eco-tune

I've flashed my file and it feels better than before
the high torque starts now @ 2000rpm and holds on till 3500 or maybe 4000
this was only a short drive with loging

BUT
I think the egr isn't complete off
the egr map is filled with 887mg but vcds shows 850mg
before flash I've got @ 903 rpm 270-290mg/H and now I've got 470 to 490mg/H
