Check if chip tuned

Postby rapzak » Fri Apr 18, 2014 7:51 pm

Hi,

How can i check if my car was tuned before i got it?
I have some erros with high boost pressure - it maxes out the MAP sensor :(

I had some problems with broken intercooler pipes as well :(

I think my vanes in turbo is not sticking - but not sure about the vacum valve.
I think i also can see that on obd graph - attached.

I had the inlet manifold of yesterday to remove all carboun build up.
I have a working EGR valve.
I have removed the DPF element in the filter - but problem was also there before.

What is the normal stock boost level for this car?
I see more than 2.5bar (more than 1.5Bar boost)

I attached a new turbo - that was fast broken - then i changed the cartridge - but the turbo was no calibrated afterwards - the actuator and vacum was used from the old turbo - but the maximum adjuster was on the new cartridge.

What i see in the graph is at high turbo pressure - the dutycycle to the control valve does not go to 0% ??

i only have some clone tools from china to the OBD2 connector - can i use it to read out the flash - not program?

any clues a highly welcome - also if i need to make more charges for helping to find my failure...

Thank you :)

Without going into details: find factory firmware on their cars and comparable to that in ECU.
