Dual mass flywheel: solid conversion?

What's the prevailing opinion of solid flywheel conversions?

My DMF is getting a bit noisy. Currently at 180hp & 390Nm and hoping to remap.
I really don't know whether to stick with the DMF or get a solid conversion.

So what's your experience and recommendations?

Hi mate'
Have made this on my Skoda Octavia Mark II remaped from 105HP to 140HP,with Valeo SMF.After 50.000km springs of disc clutch failed.

I think the most important is not to give too much iq/boost on low revs :) And flywheel won't have lots of stress :)

Solit is great. Put carbon clutch and it will last forever.
Dual mass is total crap, would punish the guy who invented dual mass peace of crap.

everybody says solid.

what about the chain of the camshafts of that power and torque?

try solid one and see much more bigger problem :)

Solid and get it lightened and balanced do it to all mine and a good sprung plate.
You sometimes get chatter from the box as the the space between the thrust bearing and clutch change.
The pick up is great :thumbup:

i drive 500nm+ on solid - perfect.
