Hi there,
My car is a Mitshubishi lancer 1996. Engine code 4G92.
I need to contact the ecu in order to tune it.It has an OBD-2 dlc connector.
I checked the DLC connector and fount that pin No. 1 goes to ping 42 int the ECU. (DLC in/out according to Auto-Data software)
pin 4-5 - earth
pin 7 goes to pin 34 (ignition adjustment connector - according to Auto-Data software)
I Bought form e bay a standard Bluetooth to OBD LM327 converter. With simple android or any windows software I should be able to contact the ECU.
Unfortunately it does not work on my car.
I`ve tried it with several new model such as Toyota Prius 2008. Peugeot 307- 2003 and it works wonderful.
After tons of reading about the OBD pin outs and the OBD protocols I got to a dead end.
I can not find what are the correct pin assignments of this ECU.
Can it be contacted with a standard OBD device?
What kind of protocols it uses?
is there any compatible cable for contacting it?
I`m need help. I`v got to measure the short and long term fuel trims in order to install a HHO device.
Any one can help me?
