what can you tell me about my tuned from my mercedes e280 cdi w211

Dear elav,
Have you been in the same situation than I , that the 280CDI is a downtuned 320CDI? My 2005 280CDI (3,2) is like that, but yours is newer, 2008.
My thoughts are, maybe they downtuned it simply with torque limiter for 177 horses, and one could use the 320 mapping for tuning.
