Garret GT2256V turbo boost

Hello,
is there any people who can help me to get some informations about this turbo.
All i can find is nothing much. If anyone know how much of boost this turbo is capable of
can anyone share it with me would be very greatful.
Trying to tune my Bmw 330d.

Hi,
here is your info from my experience.This turbo is also placed in Alfa romeo 156/164 2.4 JTD 150 HP and some Iveco Daily's.
I have a project with Alfa 156 2.4 JTD with GT2256V (stock turbo for this model) and i have 210 HP on wheels. This turbo can make safely 1.7 bar of pick pressure and 1.5 hold for a huge rpm range from 2.3k up to 4.8k rpm with maximum hp. Torque is also verry impressive- 489 Nm from 1.6k rpm.I have made more than 75 000 km and sale it.Car still running with no issues. So the raw info for you- 1.7 pick and 1.5 bars of hold with no issues.The maximum is 1.9 pick and 1.7 hold- but you will need new MAP sensor to read this pressure because yours is up to 2.5 bar with atmo pressure (pure 1.5 bar of boost).

For a standard remap 1.5 bar is ok for this turbo.
If you are making more extreme remap you can puss it up to 1.6 - 1.7 bar.

thank you guys, one more question. If im right i found SVBL map which is set to 2250, and my ecu was tuned before on peak rmp i have 2350 boost set, so it looks like someone who tuned before missed the SVBL ? And its not running 2350, and runs only 2250 max?
If someone could look the maps i found and tell me if i found it right? And i cant find torque limiter, so would be great if someone could help me with it. P.S. Sorry for bad english :D

And one more question :p I didn't find an egr map so, on my model i assume egr isn't controlled by ecu. So if i want egr removed i just remove egr valve and im done ?

EGR is controlled by the ECU. If you just remove the EGR valve you will have DTC.

When asking for help you must post your original bin.

thats why im here to learn something, i have both the files original and tuned. The tuned file i got was from the car of mines, i bought it and it was already flashed so im taking a look whats different between original and tuned, and maybe i could make something more of the tuned file. Dont judge me im a beginner:(
