BDM - things you should know...

Postby ecuedit » Sun Aug 05, 2012 9:46 pm

Before first use be careful to check the pins - for correct order. Here is comparison for BDM - evc & BMD - cmd --> if you do not want to burn something ;)

There are also two different types of adapters coming with BDM.

Be careful when ordering frame with adapters to check if the pogo pins are included or not...there is the trick as well.

Pinouts are the same, the only difference is that first one have pogopins already, second one does not have them.

I was talking about BDM pinout not the probes. By the pictures the pinouts are not the same. So you need to correct them ?

And correct me if I'm wrong, this is almost identical to galletto2 the changes are in the connector that is a DB9 right ?
If so we can convert one of this in a galletto2 just by matching the pins on BDM with EOBD cable pins and then use galletto2 software.

I'm dreaming too high ?
