Hi Guys,

I got the file from my Golf MK5 with a BLS engine. I found many maps on my ECU file:

18764C & 187890 - EGR
191366 - Turbo Boost
1914D4 - Turbo Limit
1C2BAC - Driver wishes (but there are many more)
1D4766 - Torque Limits
1D64CC & 1D72DE - IQ
1EAF70 & 1EB0EA - Turbo Map

Now I'm not sure about the smoke limits, because I found a few: 1E507A, 1E52FC, 1E557E, 1E5800, 1EAF70, IEB0EA.
Why does the ECU has so many maps of the smoke limits? As I want to remap everything later, do I have to change them all? Is it the same on the driver wishes - maps? Maybe my question is easy to be answered but I already said that I'm still learning. I hope I'll get answers. I'm still missing EGR, are there another maps I forgot for a basic tuning?

Which maps would you remap for a small basic tuning around 105 -> 135 HP?

For 135 HP , you need a good remap.You can get to 140HP.Limit is the amount of air-for 1,9l engine- that you may enter into the cylinders with your turbo/IQ(AFR can be 17/1 for decent smoke).So you have to start from max. IQ.Read the tuning guide EDC 16(it show maps).It is useful also EDC 15 tuning guide,here;

But I think EDC 16 is a little too complicated for a start,need to study more, and then ask questions.The best way in my opinion is to make your own mod file,post it and ask the point of view of members,so you will get more help.

Before write the mod file always make checksum!!!!!!!

Hi! I also have EDC16 on a Golf MK5 - 105 bhp with DSG 6. I am reading all of this guides and manuals and i can't find maps.

In EDC16 tuning guide there is writen that torque limiter is starting on 1D43C2. But i think i found it on other address. Is that torque limiter map (mapa-mozda.jpg)?

Also, all of my potential maps have 5 characters addresses but in guide all have 6, like for example 1D43C2. You can see that on moje.jpg
How can i change that or use? Any explanation please.

Tuning guide is for 2Mb file. Your file is 1Mb.
Guide helps you see maps shape that must be changed, the values ​​of axes Z, X, Y,factors and affset.Read first EDC15 Tuning guide and than EDC16.Different software have different maps addresses.

Your SVBL is EDF64-2350 mBar
Nm to IQ IS E060A
