Fiat Grande Punto 1.3mjt 75cv EGR off

Sorry guys i know there are other threads regarding EGR off in this car.
I wanna ask what is the issue in excluding the EGR just unplugging the the EGR connection plug.
I know the engine fault alert appera but there are any issue excluding the EGR just like that?
Same question regarding Opel Corsa 1.3cdti (same engine).

You can just disconnect the plug but an error will appear in the quadrant.
You can solve this by disconnecting the egr map

Hi you can put a resistor in the plug, if i remeber they must be 50 Ohm, and the car won't sown the error light...i just emulate the charge in ohm of the egr...
