Hey Guys,

I`m building a mk2 golf track car, using a pd 130 asz code engine, (eventually gtb2260vk turbo kit, already have), gearbox has an obx limited slip, poly carb windows, full welded in cage, lightweight buckets, ap four pots, fibreglass tailgate, bonet and roof skin etc etc. Should be sub 900kg, my fisrt mk2 16v track car is apx 880kg and doesn't have as much lightening done, but the new one has more cage.

Stage 1 will be running std ecu with 130bhp

Stage 2 will be with a generic tuner map which (on a spare ecu I bought) has been dynode @ 182/290

Atage 3 will be gtb2260vk kit and custom map,(maybe plus nozzles) hoping for 240/330+

Engine has been fitted, mounts sorted, loom made (not by me), most components have been collected.

Just need to finish my vw t4 repaint and I can get back on with the golf. Then immo off ecu and put it all together.

Neat car mate, do you have the bigger turbocharger installed yet? 8-)

fun engines in mk2's, will be nice usable power at 180 bhp anything more than 250bhp in these is a terror ride :twisted: (awesome fun tho)
