Would you really trust bluetooth for something as important as this?

Would you flash a phone with a new ROM over Bluetooth?

Surely cables or bust isn't it? (sorry, noob question alert from me)

+1

For diagnostics BT is not so bad, but for flashing - NO WAY, newer...
Diagnostics BT interface - universal one AutoCom is not bad at all.

Bluetooth devices run over COM ports. Any software that runs on COM ports is compatible with COM port-ish bluetooth devices.

As others said - bluetooth diagnostics is great (I use it myself), but I'd never use it to flash ECU.
