Hello.
Have watch some tutorials on youtube to learn more and have some questions to see if i got it right.
You have three way of reading and writing:
1 De-solder the Eprom, and put the Eprom in a reader and read/write.
2 Mount the pcb in a frame. And read Eprom.
3 Serial via OBD2-connector.
Have i got this right?
Is it some benefit to de-solder the Eprom, or is that they just cant get read/writhe thru OBD2?
In obd2 serial read/write its two types, via Can or via K-Line?
When you read, you just read, and after reading the car is just like normal? Little chance too upset something?
During writing its much bigger chance to upset the ECM?
I have seen on KESS on youtube, and it seems like read file, send for modification, and write file back, have become a procedure that will be viable for me.
But big question, the cars today with multiple ecm and complex system. Did you have to choose which system to read (ask the tuner which file he need to modify), or did you read all, and find the right files in the "tuning software).
Onforums its often asking for dumps, when i member have problem. What will these dumps include?
Regards.
