1.9TDI 130CV ASZ 03

Postby DavidRUCABITS » Mon Oct 20, 2014 1:04 am

Hi need some of your opinion about my file.

I'm using about 75mg Max. The AFR that i'm using is near 15:1.

I dont have EGT gauge, so i wanted to make the AFR richer so that i could lower the turbo temp.

Wich AFR should i use? 14? Lower?

I changed DW, SL, TL, Boost Map and all the limiters. Didn't touch SOI but i did the math to Duration so that i could use the 75mg.

Need help to get the tune right.

Thanks you guys!!!

The Injector duration 01,02,03,04,05 maps are selected in which base? Diesel temp?

Why does one of you maps have different Durations for the same IQ/Rpm how does the Ecu choose the right Duration Map?

Thanks in advance.

I began to use WinOls but the test version didnt let me save the new file. So right now i am using EDC SUITE.

In Tuning mode you will get only the 00 Map, i research and figured that the Injection Maps are for different SOI and the map that i was changing was only for the 27º of SOI and my SOI map does not even have an SOI of 27..lol

I grab your Injection duration and put them on a map that i did for 65mg. Changes all the duration and verify the SOI values so that i dont get to mutch of EOI.

The map that i will test tonight in a ruff mode is set with:

65mg, 1,5bar of boost, 65mg in TL from 2500rpm and above and 34~max on Duration 01 (the 25 SOI Map), i didn't change the SOI values cause i dont want to move them around i prefer later EOI that a "KNock" by injecting to soon.

My Launch is fine, above 3500rpm and 6km/h no injection (launch mode), did the Popcorn Cut on TL @5001rpm (right now it has a map that does 5101rpm on the cut).

Will test this and see the results. Performance viewer are saying 389Nm and 206bhp (because of the late limiter) @4900 does ~180bhp

Thank you, i will post the map.

You need to do all maps. 00-01-02-03-04. 05 is i think for safe mode.

I looked @ soi map and figgured that only from 10-to 25 SOI are being used so i did all the calculation for those, i can do it for the rest just to have some peace, but ECU will probably not going to use them.

Thanks for the help.

Maybe you have figured this out allready but richer mixture on diesel engines is opposite to gasoline engines and means higher egt. Using AFR of 14-15 means lots of smoke and very high egt! You should aim for AFR 17-18 with good duration/soi setup that keeps eoi reasonable.

Lower AFR means higher EGT, and boost spikes, altough it literally makes a bit more power. This need to be a balance between Smoke/temps/gains... I'm running 15,8~16 AFR and its just fine (no smoke, no spikes, just right).

SilvaCH i need help to figure what am i doing wrong with my hardcut.

I tried using LC Map putting @5000rpm - 100% of injection alowed, and @5002 - 0% alowed and it does not sound like a machinegun (lol)

Then i tried on TL putting the last values like 4900rpm-62mg and 4902rpm-0mg and it still doesn't cut like a machine gun.

How can i solve this?
