307 2.0 110 HDi Remap

could someone tune my file? its already had its FAP software removed with ECUsafe 2 years ago i have removed the FAP filter and installed a strait pipe also i have put a EGR blanking plate as well but would it be best to remove the EGR from the ECU?

i would like power and good mpg please 8-)

i would like to ask if someone could remap a file for me if thats ok, i do want to learn but remapping might be a big step for me and if am honest i would like to see what my car can do with a good tunner with my file, and maybe i could try and make one once i learn more about the maps or is that the wrong way to go with learning? :?

but i have been doing some playing about with my ecu file i wonder if you could take a look at it i turned of the EGR as i have mine blocked up with a blanking plate and before i upload it to my ECU could you check to see if i done it right?

the c8 was a mates car i like the 307 better :D

You did it 50% correct.
Do it also at address: 7111F and you will be 100% correct 8-)

Do not forget:
Blend EGR at the the exhaust and at inlet...or remove it completely. I will post pictures how i did.

I have my egr blanked off already ;) so once I do the other part then thats it 100% removed from the software
Do I just unplug the electric side from the valve?

It is not removed it is switched off like it has to be.
All maps that is for EGR are ignored.

You disconnect the electric side and you can remove it from your system completely.
Be sure you blend the egr on exhaust and at the inlet.

glad to say its done.... i hope could you run your eyes over it before i upload it to my ECU please. could i ask do i just save it as a bin file with winols or does it need to be another type of file to be saved in again sorry for all the questions

i do not understand this because i have the same file and you want to shut off the EGR

address 7111A you change the 001 in 000 WHY???

because EGR OFF is in the address 61120 :

address 61120 : 001 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048 000
the first one to change in 000

it will be then
address 61120 : 000 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048 000

am i right????

because:

1. Look the hex dump in 8bit Text mode.
2. Set the number of columns to 10.
3. Look for: 001 001 000 000 001 000 001 000 001 048 string.
4. The first 001 is EGR Switch with/without (1/0).
5. The second 001 is Boost Control Switch with/without (1/0).
