Strange then, you can checksum it with software but it seems that your tool installation can couse this kind of issue. as per tool itself it does correct checksum for this type of ecu. You should ask your supplier to send you other software first and in the end replace the hardware.

vmaksy62 wrote:I just bought and use it on this ECU. i did wright EEPROM with it, but on int flash i got message that no checksum is available and this file had to be send to technical support. But file i tried to write was read from another ECU with the same number and without any modification. It shows me info about this file with checksum. As i understood when no checksum module for the ECU installed FGTeh Galetto does not allow to write file.
I attach the int flash file, it is not modified. It was saved by FGTech Galetto without extension. I add extension ".bin" as I could not upload file without extension - forum site refuse to do it.

as i understand you try to write int flash from other ecu ?

i tried to write original too - written from this ecu and got the same fault message. galetto creates log file with ext .gal , but could not read it. if i could i think i found out what the problem is.

I got the message even with power to ecu off. when read with power off i got message to turn power on. i think that means soft gives this fault message.

Any way to resolve this?

I have the Galletto v54 upgraded to 0475.

Today I am trying to DPF delete an EDC17CP14 (USA model 2010 VW Jetta tdi dsg).

I have read all (internal flash, external flash, eeprom) in boot mode with my clone Galletto v54.

I modified the DPF switch in internal flash, and used WinOLS to calculate checksums.

Then I went back to flash in boot mode, the internal flash.

Before it even started flashing I got this error from Galletto v54:

Checksum not supported. Send original and modified files to technical support for correction.

Even original internal flash gives same error.

Any way to get around this? Is it possible to disable automatic checksum in galletto?
