Yeah but there is some stuff I cannot locate. Like the Injection duration map. To look for it I search for 00016 00000 in the whole file, thenI look for numers that can resemble the bar pressure (between 200 and 1400 or with factors). But I could not find anything suitable.

do like this:

look at the 3d maps here:
edc15c2-3d-graphs-units-hw-0281010877-sw-1037353776-t54

look at the injection duration map how it looks like.
then, go to winols and pres "p" and then with pressing "f" find the same looking map ;)

Do that for:

injection duration, boost limiters, n75, turbo maps, IQ limiters, smoke map, drivers wish, rail pressure precontrol value,
you can do it in 5min :).... just do it like that.

then you are more than half way for locating...

Thanks for the hint! Did you take some time to have a look at what I sent you? I'm opening a topic on 406coupe to show everyone how to remap step by step. Of course I'll point them here for all the complete info! 8-)

Great hint! I found many more maps! I need also to find all the 1x1 values.

Also I found many more maps that are not listed anywhere but are for sure something interesting. I did a "Unknown maps" folder and I have 19*2=38 maps in there.
I also found some maps that are not like the ones posted before, but thay should be similar, and for example I foundmore boost limiters maps, I think. Something like 3*2 of them, is it possible?

I'm still missing many maps tho. I'll have a look closer later.

This is what I've found so far, attached.

I think I have found most of the interesting maps. I'm missing almost all the 1x1 values. Some maps still have to be fixed in the offsets, axis etc. ("FIX" in the map name) and some are uncertain ("???" in the map name).
Can someone help me? Any opinions

You should be able to unzip it and import it with winols (project -> import), but don't quote me on that. Maybe exporting the mappack is necessary?

Noone can help me?

By the way I started doing a small guide for the Coupé forums, I guess I'll post it here too. It's just a stupid and brief remainder and nothing really good. But may be of help for newbies like me.

First, you MUST understand what your car behaves like. You must know the components and what the turbo does, how it is controlled, what the EGR is, HP pump, wastegate, ECU, injectors, timings, everything. This can be learnt step by step and you do not need to know it fully before starting. You just need an overall idea of all the components. Deep knowledge will come with time.
Second, the ECU is alive. And since it is, it can die. In this case it will never be my fault, this is a disclaimer. It will be your own fault, always. However, rest assured that any ECU can be recovered. But you may need to ask for a professional to come and fix it for you (you need special tools) for money. So take lots of care and check million times everything. Do not touch the "dark side" of the map which is the ECU software, or you'll block it.
Third, hardware. You need a Galletto 1260 or someone who can flash the car for you. Having a PP2000 to monitor the car is a very welcome help. You need a battery charger or another car's battery to keep your battery 100% charged during the ECU flashing or you'll risk to block it.
Fourth, only remap your original file. It'll be easier to do it step by step and you'll be sure the HW and SW numbers will be the same as the original, which is necessary. You can first defap it with ECUSafe, it is safe to do so on EDC15C2s, may not be on other ECUs.
Fifth, you'll have to grab a copy of WinOLS. It's a remapping program and I will not be able to help you if you use another program. It's a good program by the way. I will not tell you here how to get it!
Sixth, with some time, patience, help and luck you'll have your file ready in a month or less. You'll have to flash your car only two or maybe three times.

When you have got your file (original one and defapped one), open Winols and spend at least an hour playing with it, opening the defapped file as a "new project". You should not need to change the settings for the Project, they should already be ok as the default settings.
Learn what the buttons do and what you can select and why. Play a bit and do not save. At this point you'll think that all of those numbers and graph make no sense whatsoever, even though you'll be able to spot some recurring order somewhere.

Most good infos on how to remap our 406s can be found here:
maps-needed-for-tuning-edc15c2-t29
edc15c2-3d-graphs-units-hw-0281010877-sw-1037353776-t54

Mind your graphs could be a little different and maps have different addresses.

In the next post, how to recognize your first maps!

HOW TO FIND MAPS:
Winols will automagically find most maps for you (if he doesn't, press F). You just need to look at the maps and decide which make any sense. Having a look at the graphs in the first post links, press P (preview) and then have a look at a potential map at a time (pressing F to pass from one to the other). When you find a suitable map, open it (double click or rightclick + open) and modify it, give it an appropriate name. Move it to a folder of your choiche (rightclick on the map name -> move into). I have an "EGR" folder, a "Turbo and Boost" folder, a "Fueling and rail" folder, a "Various" folder and a "Unknown map" folder.

Not all maps are found this way. For example WinOLS did not find the torque limiter map for me. I did this way:
I know the maps usually contain
MARKER, NUMBER OF COLUMNS, 00000, LOTS OF DATA, 00000
Markers usually start with 50. One I found was 50022, if I recall correctly. From the number of columns, the data inside the map and the info you can gather from the web one can recognize what it is that that map controls in the ECU software. You have to select the right number of columns to be able to see it properly. All maps are seen in 16 bit mode but the EGR and TURBO switches which are in 8 bit mode.

The torque limiter has 19 columns, so after putting the view to decimal and 16 bit mode I searched (ctrl + F) for 00019 00000. I managed to find and select the torque limiter this way. Select the 19 limiting values and press K.

Probably lots of the above stuff does not make much sense to an expert
I already see something that could be wrong by reading it again... But again this is only to help a bit newbies like me.
