when for example: i want to read an peugeot 107 1.0 ME7.9.5, i need to solder in two 1KOhm resistance's in the correct place in order to read in boot mode.
my galetto says via kline only writing is supported, so do i have to desolder those resistance's after succesfully reading the ecu before connecting it to back in the car? or do the resistance's have to stay soldered on the ecu mainboard?
my theory is to desolder after reading, and flash a modified file via kline because engine will maybe not start when resistance's are connected? (so in fact they are only for the boot mode, and not of later use?)
i've searched about this but can't seem to find any info about this.
all i find is what to solder in which place but not if i have to desolder after read(or write)
