406 2.2L tune

Hi,

Can anyone rate this tune to my 406 coupé?
The file is my original file, with the follow mods:

FAP off
EGR off
hp around 150~155

Is the checksum ok? May I risk to upload this file to the car and have problems?

I'm here to learn, and your comment is very important.
I am trying to understant how tunning works, but is not easy, cause I can't find any manual that says, do this and that :). And a lot of people have diferent point of view in "how to" mod files and this lead to confusion...

I realy don't know where to start.... identifying maps it's easy ( after many hours of work and compare to Ecuedit map pack) but after that i don't know what to do correctly...

There are not much calculations in behind (also those rectangular map changes convince me). Maps doesn't correspond to each other. You ran out of some maps. For example, max torque limit is 97,48mm3/i, but in driver wish you request max 84,54mm3/i. 2248mbar boost @4000rpm would give you roughly 1187mg/i of air but injection limited by AFR of ~20.3 (from smoke map) will allow you to inject only 69.5mm3/i (actually you will inject ~76mm3/i due to faked duration maps) which is far away from requested 83.55mm3/i.

I'm gonna start from the beginning, and trying to do things little by little. Do you know where I can find important info about what to change to have a good tune?

Like I said before, i havve started from the begining.
Now I have, Allmost All maps found ( miss SOI 1,SOI 2, rail pressure and rail pressure limit).
Mods done:

Rail Diagnostic limiter -> 1350 to 1500Bars
EGR -> 1 to 0
SVRPL(all) -> 1350 to 1400Bars
SVRPL(5) -> 1500Bars
SVBL -> 2200 to 2400

Next step is to change Torque limiter (IQ 74 to IQ 84)
Driver wish1
Driver wish2
turbo maps
somke map

I will not change injecction duration map, the rail pressure has raised in 50bars, so automaticly if the duration map still the same, i gonna inject more fuel cause the duration still the same rigth?

In attach I have, original map, map modified, map pack, maps founded, maps changed, and map address.
If someone can take a look to see if I am doing things right it would be nice.

Hi,

I have rebuild my tune from the begining . I have changed:
All necessary map axis extended

Rail pressure: 1400
IQ: 85 ( all maps now are updated to my new IQ )
Smoke map
Driver wish map
turbo map
boost maps
EGR off
...

In the package I include original file, remap file, map pack and map addresses.
Can anyone tell me if i am doing this good?

It is correct the checksum? It is safe to make some logs in the car with the new file?

Hi,

Here is a new file, that i am running in my car now. No smoke and a lot of pleasure driving the car

IQ: 88
EGR off
FAP off
I have changed almost all maps....
I left stock rail pressure and Single values Rail pressure.

By calculations I have around 370 Nm and 170hp.... but not dyno yet.

If I reaise the railpressure to 1400Bars what kind of gains will i get?
