Opel Omega B FL 2.5 DTI (M57) problem reading from ECU

Postby Kicks » Mon Apr 06, 2015 2:21 pm

So the car is a 2003 Opel Omega B FL Caravan, with 2.5 DTI 110kw engine (should be BMW M57D25 engine) and manual transmission, but i'm unable to read from the ecu via MPPS (i have MPPS V13,02). The issue being that under Opel/Vauxhall there is no choice for the 2.5 DTI engine and i've had no luck when trying to read it as a BMW DDE4.0 or a Omega 2.0/2.2 DTI etc.

So my question is, how should i be able to read from that ecu, or is it impossible via MPPS?

Thanks in advance
Karl

desolder eeprom and use programmer or can try to connect directly to ecu pins with kwp2000

Dont lie,no need to solder, mpps makes it 100% ok.

No need to solder anything, boot mode have to use, done 10+ cars, ecu is same like bmw dde4 edc15 ,same maps same locations etc

Im using Mpps v13 generic mode boot pin to ground, ,,ignition´´ on after 10 seconds remove boot ground and make ecu id,if boot time was correct then read and write how many times you want.
